Emo prince and princess

Im wondering what does emo mean and so I asked my friend about it and they would say that it is just a short cut for the word emotional or a loner. I also researched more about emo and i discovered that most people would consider it punk with emotion is what we would call the classification of a new rising way of feeling your inner self. When you are referring to someone has being emo, you are usually are stating that they are sensitive, or have a emotional personality. emo truly is a type of music that started in the eighty's and is rapidly moving back in its popularity. It’s a sub genre of punk music which has grown to be more popular then punk it’s self. Each and every day more and more emo bands are coming out. However, emo most commonly is referred to as a type of fashion.
